Two Farmers: Leading the Way in Plastic-Free July

As we embark on our Plastic-Free July challenge we want to shine a light on one of our inspiring clients Two Farmers. This remarkable brand has been committed to plastic-free initiatives since 2015!

Two Farmers' founders Mark Green and Sean Mason embarked on a mission to create hand-cooked crisps that showcased local produce and minimised environmental impact.

Three years in the making, their groundbreaking plastic-free packaging, made from sustainable cellulose and biodegradable materials, gained national recognition upon its launch in 2018 with plaudits across TV, Radio and numerous innovation awards followed. A real David and Goliath story, a small startup making the change to sustainable, plastic-free packaging where much bigger brands even today continue to use plastic.

Left in a home compost between 26-38 weeks these packets will break down into harmless elements, enriching the soil and leaving no toxins behind.

Two Farmers now produce up to 40,000 packets daily which are available in over 1,000 shops and stores nationwide. This will certainly will help reduce plastic waste so keep an eye out for them, you won't be disappointed with a range of delicious flavours from Hereford Hop cheese, to their moreish woodland mushroom and garlic. A true success based on a passion for the countryside and planet that we can really get behind.
