Two Farmers Crisps - One Year Later

It has been almost a year since we launched Two Farmers to market and what a year it has been for this multi award-winning brand.

When the founders, Mark and Sean, first approached us in 2018, they had an incredible idea - to launch the first compostable crisp packaging available to the UK market. They also wanted to make sure that the crisps themselves were the best out there and a true reflection of Herefordshire and the land they farm.

We worked with them to develop a brand strategy and from that a brand, the packaging design for their beloved crisps and the onward digital and PR plan that would support them as they launched to market.

Over the coming months, we spent time in the potato fields at their farm in South Herefordshire, directing the now well-recognised imagery that graces the front of their packs, meeting the local suppliers of their ingredients and getting under the skin of the brand.

Our designers developed a distinctive range of packaging for their 40g packs, as well as point of sale, and an exhibition stand ready for their launch at the Speciality Fine Food Show 2018. The website was also designed and built by our creative team, including a consumer and trade e-commerce platform, and the digital team were soon launching a social media campaign in anticipation of the September launch.

We knew from the start that this was going to be an exciting and innovative brand and the response the brand has had since launch has certainly echoed that.

Since launch, the Two Farmers team has secured 100s of listings, our PR team has generated over 100 press clippings, as well as a spot on ITV’s Countryfile and an upcoming BBC programme, our digital team has created a social following of 10,000+ and the brand has won multiple awards.
