Wildjac Distillery Launch Paper Bottle Spirits Range

Wildjac Distillery, the eco-friendly distillery known for its nature-inspired rums, has launched a new paper bottle format for its range of spirits. Developed in collaboration with Frugalpac’s Frugal Bottle, the innovative packaging is an eco-friendly alternative to traditional glass bottles, weighing just a fifth of their weight and boasting a carbon footprint that is six times lower.

As the first in the rum category in the UK to achieve this feat, Wildjac has set a new benchmark in sustainable packaging. The new paper bottle is fully recyclable, with the outer paper casing and cap being recyclable curbside, and the soft plastic liner accepted at major supermarkets and recycling centers.

The carbon footprint of the new packaging is an impressive 84% lower than traditional glass bottles, weighing in at just 91.9kg/CO2e per bottle, compared to 558.2kg/CO2e for glass. The new FrugalPac range of rums is now available to customers across all channels, and consumers can expect to see it on retailer shelves soon.

Aster Sadler, the founder of Wildjac Distillery, said, "This marks a fantastic step forward for our distillery. We are committed to sustainability and are always looking for ways to innovate and reduce our environmental impact. We're thrilled to offer our customers an eco-friendly packaging option that doesn't compromise on quality, and we hope that other brands will be inspired to follow our lead."

The new paper bottle range is available in 70cl, with an RRP of £28.95. For more information and to order, visit www.wildjac.co.uk. Wildjac Distillery's latest offering is a testament to the brand's commitment to sustainability, and its efforts are sure to encourage other brands to take similar steps towards reducing their carbon footprint.
