Hiring- Social Media Marketing Manager

Role- Fulltime

Location- Remote-first/ Office 1-2 days per week(Stoke Prior, Herefordshire)

Salary- £30-35k p/a dependant on experience

About

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Marketing Manager to join our growing team and help our clients grow through strategic social media marketing.

Within this role, you will be integral to the success of our client's social media and wider digital campaigns. In addition, your key responsibility will be the happiness and retention of your clients.

You will be responsible for running some of the agency's lead accounts and will need to be comfortable and confident doing so. This responsibility will require you to have a strategic mindset when it comes to paid and organic social media, to understand our client's business challenges and to be curious about the future of social.

In addition, you will need to have experience in running budgets, juggling multiple priorities, leading strategic conversations and writing excellent briefs.

Through deepening the agency's relationship with its clients and demonstrating a deep understanding of their business, you will also be expected to create new business opportunities within your client stack.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on working collaboratively, strategically and efficiently.

The Role

  • Client lead on multiple client accounts

  • Strategic lead on multiple client accounts

  • Managing some of the day-to-day relationships and contact with the client - delivering reports, plans and ideas

  • Developing strategic presentations

  • Growing client accounts

  • Managing client targets and pipeline

  • Managing and reporting accurate revenue figures

  • Ensuring the best solutions are always presented to client challenges.

  • Focus on generating new ideas to share across the agency

  • Managing the commercial success of accounts

  • Ensuring profitability/accountability

Essential Requirements

  • At least three years of experience working in an account management/ digital marketing role

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise

  • Ability to comfortably handle and work on different clients at the same time

  • A good can-do attitude

  • Growth mindset – the ability to spot growth and revenue opportunity

  • Confidence in communicating with senior leaders within Client teams and presenting/pitching

  • Demonstration of good leadership skills and the ability to motivate colleagues

Advantageous skills

  • A good understanding of the wider digital marketing mix and channels

  • A good understanding of the various social media platforms

  • Food, drink and FMCG brand experience

  • Negotiation skills
