👀 Snapchat has launched an AR Lens integration with Strava, allowing users to showcase their fitness activity with users.

Snapchat has partnered with Strava allowing users to use the AR Strava Activity Lens to show their recent workouts on snaps. According to Snapchat, this will allow users to "better tell the story of every effort on Snapchat" via AR. The marketplace for AR is expected to leap to $60 billion in 2023.

🗣 WhatsApp has launched 'Communities' update introducing new group chat features.

Communities like neighbours and workplaces can connect multiple groups together under one umbrella to organise your conversations. You will also be able to use in-chat polls, 32 person video calls and an admin delete feature.

🤝 Youtube has announced a new ‘Go Live Together' feature allowing creators to invite a guest to go live with them.

Youtube is readying to introduce its new 'Go Live Together' feature where creators can host joint lives to compete with the likes of TikTok, Twitch and Instagram. Co-streaming will only work on your phones and be available to a select group of users, to begin with.

⚽️ 2022 Black Friday and the Winter World Cup collide.

The England World Cup match kicks off at 7pm on Black Friday which makes for interesting timing for advertising as last year, around 19% of all Black Friday sales came between 7 and 10pm. Brands selling sporting goods, alcohol and takeaway food may all see a much-needed boost but how will other brands fair?

For many brands, the World Cup is another advertising headache with businesses already having to factor in changes in consumer priorities such as the cost of living crisis. This Black Friday will certainly be a game of two halves...

🎄 The battle of the Christmas adverts has officially commenced with the likes of Asda, Lidl and Sainsbury's going head to head to win the nation's hearts.

Every year, Christmas adverts mark the start of the festive season. Lidl ditches Kevin the Carrot and instead introduces the 'Lidl Bear', Asda uses the classic Christmas film - 'Buddy the Elf' to document Buddy's journey in becoming an Asda employee whilst Sainsbury's has recruited the iconic Alison Hammond to star in a fantasy medieval world.
